Kreyòl Essence is an agribusiness that offers an extensive array of luxury beauty products made from natural and raw ingredients from Haiti. The creation of Kreyòl Essence is fueled by the vision to stimulate economic activities in Haiti after the devastating earthquake in 2010. But this is not about hand-outs. This social enterprise is built on economic development, empowering women, and taking care of our environment. 

This purposeful company is women-run and is anchored by the hydrating and healing properties of their signature product, Palma Christi: Haitian Black Castor Oil or “Lwil Maskreti” as it is known in Haiti. They have hired more than 350 farmers, and reduced deforestation through farming and harvesting of castor beans.
