Singing Rooster is a social enterprise non-profit that partners with small producers in Haiti to build better businesses while bringing Haitian products to the international market, including gourmet Haitian coffee, chocolate bars, and art. They are a member of the Fair Trade Federation and pay as much as twice the fair trade price for their crops. 100% of the proceeds from sales are invested back to farmer communities in the form of agricultural, small business management, and entrepreneurial development activities.

Singing Rooster’s partnership model is holistic, and the collective goal is to nurture economic autonomy. Their staff provides management, financial resources, record keeping and agronomic support to several farmer-owned networks in Haiti. They work with over 40 cooperatives of coffee and cacao farm, which represents over 10,000 smallholder farmers. 

When we purchase from Singing Rooster, we are providing fair wages for farmers, business training to help improve yields, and planting trees in one of the most deforested nations in the world.
