Atelier Calla

Atelier Calla was founded by designer, Christelle Paul in 2011, after the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti. Christelle left her full time job to built her workshop from scratch. Today with more than 30 artisans involved in the production, they are one of the largest horn manufacturers in Haiti.

Atelier Calla products are made from upcycled materials. They transform a pair of cattle horns that would otherwise be discarded into beautiful jewelry and home goods. The horn is responsibly collected in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince and in the Artibonite and Central Plateau Department. In 2019 Atelier Calla upcycled 5,000 cows and bullhorns into one-of-a-kind pieces.

When we purchase from Atelier Calla, we are supporting fair trade jobs, cultural preservation of crafts, and waste reduction in Haiti.
